Ianthe or Ariadne

I’m stuck between [name]Ianthe[/name] or [name]Ariadne[/name] for a female protagonist, the character would probably be around age 18ish. I like them both but I’m worried [name]Ariadne[/name] might be a mouthful

I’m leaning towards [name]Ariadne[/name] but if your worried it might be a mouthful here are some variations: [name]Aria[/name], [name]Ari[/name], [name]Ariana[/name], Aidriene (I think that’s how you spell it) and if she’s a masculine girl you could give her the name [name]Aiden[/name] as a nickname.

I was also thinking about the nickname [name]Rae[/name] as a possibility

I prefer [name]Ianthe[/name]. They’re both difficult names, pronunciation-wise. I wouldn’t choose [name]Ianthe[/name] because you think it’ll be easier!
