I have been thinking a lot about the name [name]Emmanuel[/name], but as I have stated before, I hate the nickname [name]Manny[/name]. The question is, should I keep trying to find a better nickname, or would it be better to put it in the middle? Probably my all-time favorite name combo for a boy is [name]Schuyler[/name] [name]Emmanuel[/name], with the nickname of [name]Leo[/name], but nobody close to the baby would ever be able to spell or pronounce it right, and I do not like it spelled [name]Skyler[/name] on a boy.
For girl names, I like frilly and sweet; underused and rarely heard of, but pronounceable and spelled correctly (although I do prefer [name]Mysti[/name] to [name]Misty[/name] for the nickname). My taste in boy names, on the other hand, tends to run close to my taste in guys: quietly strong with a healthy dose of quirkiness but not so quirky as to cause embarrassment. Any help would be appreciated.
