If you could CHANGE your name today, what name would you choose for yourself? ( F & M )
I’ve posted on here before about changing my name. I’ve been thinking more and more about it and want to change my name before I go to college. I thought it would be great to hear what all of the Nameberries would like their names to be if everyone could make that choice.
I actually had a dream last night where my name was suddenly [name]Salome[/name]. Which is kind of weird considering I’ve never expressed any liking or connection to that name. So if I had to change it today it would be [name]Salome[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] or something, it changes everyday. =]
Ahhh, I have no real idea. I’m still hunting for the right name for my own name change, but my latest ideas I believe was something like: [name]London[/name] [name]Elle[/name], I later realised it was too sugary/fake.
I have a love for the name [name]Ashley[/name], but not for it’s common ranking of #2 the year I was born. And for [name]Aubrey[/name], which is too juvenile imo, and my younger (male) cousin’s name.
I like my name, but I always thought that, if I had to change my name, I would pick [name]Jane[/name]. I love this name … for the same reasons as the previous poster.
This is my 3rd daughter’s name now though, so I’d probably have to pick a different one. I think I’d pick [name]Rachel[/name]. I think it’s classic, elegant, and obviously feminine without being overly so.
Kite. I think I would like being a Kite. Maybe it’d be short for something, maybe not. [name]Even[/name] though I have no problem with my real name other than people thinking I’ve misspelled it (My name’s [name]Kirsten[/name] but everyone thinks it’s [name]Kristen[/name], ha!)
Probably something like [name]Maria[/name] [name]Renee[/name]
It retains most of the sound of my first name, but it is much easier for everyone to pronounce and doesn’t look quite as odd on a white girl.
I always thought a very classic name would fit me best. I’ve imagined myself as an [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Anna[/name], [name]Alice[/name], [name]Rebecca[/name], [name]Catherine[/name].
