[name_m]Darwin[/name_m] or [name_m]Darwyn[/name_m] meaning “Dear Friend.” I also like your choices [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Gray[/name_u], I was also thinking [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Joseph[/name_u], [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m], [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u] but I like your choices better and my favourite is [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Gray[/name_u].
Not sure I’d use it myself - it’s possibly a little too precocious and introverted sounding for me (they’re the vibes I get) and if I were going for that feel, I’d choose [name_m]Winston[/name_m]. It’s also a capital city in Australia (though so is [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and I love that name). But it definitely does have something earnest / honest, outdoorsy and sweet about it and I can see it working on a conscientious little chap!
I really like your three middles - though I did think of [name_u]Dorian[/name_u] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] with [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Gray[/name_u] (not sure that matters).
I might pair it with a S/soft C middle so [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] could be a possible nickname - [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] Cyrus/Silas/Sam/Scott/Sawyer/Stanley/Spencer - [name_u]Stanley[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] would be awesome! nn [name_u]Darcy[/name_u].
[name_u]Or[/name_u] a C middle as in Dar-C (Conall, [name_u]Calloway[/name_u], [name_u]Callahan[/name_u], [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] or Curtis).
I’m not sure I’d use it personally, but it has a sweet meaning and I like the ‘Win’ sound.
[name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] are lovely!!
If I had a son called [name_m]Darwin[/name_m], I’d use the middles:
[name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] ‘Win’
[name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] ‘Win’ or ‘Doc’ - as a fun one for home
[name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] ‘Win’
This is one that feels really tied to [name_u]Charles[/name_u] [name_m]Darwin[/name_m]. Seems like a good pick for biologist parents! Not for me, though the sound is nice.
[name_f]My[/name_f] boyfriend is such a fan of this name! And he isn’t even a name enthusiast lol. So I’ve grown to like it due to him.
I do think it’s edgy and cool, and I’d love to see it make a small comeback. [name_m]Darwin[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is my favorite from your list!
I live in Ecuador, and Darwin’s a fairly common name here, due to the Galápagos. I don’t care for the name, but I think it’s usage here is interesting.
