If You Had To Give Your Daughter A Double-Barrel Name, What Would It Be?

Here’s a hypothetical question, if you’d like to play along:

You’ve just had a baby girl (or more than one) and her first name will be a double-barrel name. Meaning, she will go by 2 names as her first name. What names are you giving her?

She can still have a separate middle name after these, but no matter what, she will be known by and addressed by the first two as a combo double barrel name. The names can be any type of name and any combination you want; real names, names you’ve made up, common or uncommon, gender specific or gender neutral; be the nickname version of a longer name; be derived from an old family name -either a first or surname; or be about something or somewhere special to you; OR, finally, a name completely new and random to you. And so on. Basically the only rule is she goes by a double barrel name. If you want to do for a boy too, you are welcome to list as well.

OR, I would also really love to hear what double barrel names you’ve heard out in the wild if you’d like to share those too!

Examples of Double Barrel Names:
Mary Beth
Anna Leigh
Ella May
Katie Beth
Hattie Rae
Lilly Jane
Etc…

Thanks for playing along and have fun!

I’m not a fan of double-barrelled names but if I had to, maybe something like Edie Rue, Edie Rey, Edie June or Edie Scout. Or maybe Alba Rey, Alba June, Della Scout or Della June.

Luna-Fae! [name_u]Or[/name_u] Luna-Fey. I still debate whether 2 middles would be too much, but assuming not Luna-Fae [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] maybe.

I’m not really a fan of double barrel names but, if I had to, maybe [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] [name_u]Lou[/name_u].

Come to think of it, I also really liked the name of [name_m]Richard[/name_m] Branson’s granddaughter, Eva-Deia (after the Spanish village).

Mary-Anne!

I actually prefer the [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] spelling but if I had to make it double barrelled, that would be my choice

Ahhhh this is a really hard question and decision

I couldn’t decide so I’ve listed a sibset!
ada-joanne dorothy & eva-bethan margaret

or

anna julia & april rose (I don’t have middles for these yet!)

But… I also LOVE elinor-enid & eleanor-victoria but obviously I can’t really use as my name is eleanor :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
