If you had triplet daughters, what would you call them? You decide that it will either be the same letter or each baby will have A, B, and C. [name_m]How[/name_m] would you name your triplets daughters? Also I would like your opinions on my choices.
The names you have for your triplet sets are NMS, but perfectly lovely names. I just prefer Everlynn spelt [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], and I think most people will misspell it if you spell it Everlynn. [name_m]How[/name_m] is Eliss pronounced? Is it like [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], or is it eh-LISS rather than EH-liss? If it is said like [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], I would spell it that way to avoid confusion. Either way, they are all nice names.
Today, I would pick:
Same Letter:
[name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] [name_f]Snow[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Essie[/name_f]’
[name_f]Elke[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f] ‘[name_u]Van[/name_u]’
I like some of the names you’ve picked, but stylistically find them a bit off in sets. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is a ladylike, vintage name, Everlynn is a more modern “smoosh” name, and Eliss is more gender neutral - is it [name_f]Elise[/name_f] or [name_u]Ellis[/name_u]? For your ABC set, [name_u]Auden[/name_u] and [name_u]Connelly[/name_u] are both surname-y and gender neutral, so I see them together, but [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] feels much more girlish.
This is hard!
ABC for me would be [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], and [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
Same letter?! I don’t even know if I can do this. [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], maybe? [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], and [name_f]Coraline[/name_f]? [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]? I can’t pick.
[name_u]Alix[/name_u] Sebastienne, [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f] [name_f]Allegra[/name_f] & [name_f]Zelie[/name_f] [name_f]Lucrezia[/name_f]. Triplets are still individuals–they don’t need matchy names, as most everything else in their early lives will be similar.
Hmm. The only one of your names that’s at all my style is [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], although I do think [name_u]Auden[/name_u] and [name_u]Connelly[/name_u] go well together.
Also, I agree with rkrd and would not give my triplets matchy names, but for the sake of your exercise:
lol, I don’t think I could do that matchy. If I had triplets, they’d probably just be my top 3 names–[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Arianne[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] (sort of matchy already in that they’re really similar in style and all start with vowels). But if I had to do your two matchy sets, I’d probably do:
[name_f]Arianne[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] “[name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_f]Tess[/name_f]*, and [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Eleni[/name_f], and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] “[name_f]Emmy[/name_f], [name_f]Leni[/name_f], and [name_f]Evie[/name_f]”
Or if I could really stretch it, I’d do individual names that sort of have matchy nicknames–[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Eleni[/name_f], and [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] “[name_f]Lottie[/name_f], [name_f]Leni[/name_f], and [name_f]Lily[/name_f]”.
I would likely just use my favorite names no theme. Right now that would be…
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]
[name_f]Keira[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f] [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
Same Letter Triplets
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Estella[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Jemima[/name_f].
OR
[name_u]Billie[/name_u], [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Eilidh[/name_f].
I would never use matchy/themed names for any multiples.
If I had triplets all with the same letter:
[name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Fern[/name_f] and [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]. (Are [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f] too close? I can’t quite tell…)
ABC twins would be:
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f].
From you list I like [name_u]Auden[/name_u], but don’t love any of the combos. [name_u]Auden[/name_u] and [name_u]Ellis[/name_u] (not Eliss) would go well!
Eliss
The issue with same letter sets (for me) is that it gets to be confusing…just too similar.
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], and [name_f]Emmie[/name_f], would be more my style.
A, B, C method:
[name_u]Auden[/name_u]
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]
[name_u]Connelly[/name_u]
These names are nice but not cohesive at all if that makes sense? I know they have the abc thing…maybe [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f]?
I guess if I was choosing if have
[name_f]Luciana[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], and [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], and [name_f]Cora[/name_f]
