I really love the name Illidan for a boy because it derives from a Warcraft Character. So I wanted to name my future son after it. And I wanted to know what would be a good middle name you’d recommend.
I don’t have too much of a style so you can send in some middle names and I’ll see if I am interested in any of those middles.
My boys have unusual first names so we went with classics for the middle, just in case they decided they wanted a “normal” name. Think plain, traditional names like [name_m]Wesley[/name_m], [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Matthew[/name_m], [name_m]Kevin[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_u]Alex[/name_u]. A name your dad or grandpa would have. In fact, it often works out great to use a family member’s name for the middle here.
Illidan is nice because it lends itself to the nn [name_m]Dan[/name_m], which gives the kid a “normal” option right there. Plus, it sounds like another variation of the [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]-[name_u]Jayden[/name_u]-[name_u]Kayden[/name_u] trend, so I don’t think it will be wildly unfamiliar-sounding. If you’re not into the classics, [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m], [name_m]Orson[/name_m], or [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] would be a little more offbeat. Or if you want to get a little crazy, consider [name_u]Orion[/name_u], [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u], or [name_m]Horatio[/name_m].
