I love [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] but cannot use as I have a little girl nn [name_u]Win[/name_u], I was thinking how does Arawen sound pronounced Wen at the end nn [name_m]Arri[/name_m]? Or at a push nn [name_u]Wren[/name_u]?
[name_u]Win[/name_u] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u]?? Nice or to much?
W.inry and A.rawen???
W!nry and Ar@wen are definitely different enough in terms of sound, and they do feel like sisters! Both have a kind of elfin feel, very sweet and surprising.
Win and Wren, while cute, might be a little too close in practice – I’m just imagining those called across a playing field or up the stairs, it might get a little confusing. Win and Ari (or Aro? ) would work brilliantly, though.
On the Aro/Arrow theme… Arawen reminds me of Arrowen, which I’ve seen on here before and think is pretty. In a similar vein: Aeronwy, Eilonwy, Elowen and Arrietty!
Omg I love your user name. I have a naming page on instagram and I featured this a while back. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the story behind the name
And thankyou for your comment!
Thankyou, I’m staying clear of [name_f]El[/name_f] names because not keen on [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and already have an [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] in the family although I do love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Arrietty[/name_f] and with [name_f]Etty[/name_f] as nn! I do love a bit of Studio Ghibli. I love [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] too. Loved it forever but concerned with the popularity of it
That’s really interesting because my husband loves the name [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] but with the E sounding like an E not an A. So another possible [name_m]Bron[/name_m]/Bronnie ,[name_f]Avalyn[/name_f] is nice but not keen on [name_f]Ava[/name_f] or [name_u]Lyn[/name_u] lol. I like prospect of [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] nn [name_u]Lonnie[/name_u].
