Surname is [name]Griffin[/name]. Sisters are [name]Marissa[/name] and [name]Alexandria[/name].
My current name list, for him, includes:
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Eero[/name] (arrow)
[name]Porter[/name]
Some boy names that I like (but cannot really use):
[name]Silas[/name]
[name]Cato[/name]
[name]Atticus[/name]
[name]Basil[/name]
[name]Alistair[/name]
[name]Gideon[/name]
All I can think is [name]Quinton[/name]- [name]Griffin[/name] is a very common last name where I’m from and he’s got the coolest name of them. That’s cool though, if I didn’t know so many of them, I’d love that last name. Let’s see:
Of those, I like [name]Sebastian[/name] most - unfortunately it runs into the in-in conflicting sound that I’m trying to avoid. I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Sullivan[/name], but it has that in-in problem too!
Hm… [name]Nathaniel[/name], [name]Rory[/name], [name]Tobias[/name], [name]Matthias[/name], [name]Charles[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Blaine[/name]… Or you could name him after me, [name]Nicholas[/name]
Caractacus is my top pick at the moment, but I’m still not set. I like the sound of Caractacus, but it has a weird look to it. Caractacus [name]Jude[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] has a nice flow. I like that Caractacus is unique but not crazy ([name]IMO[/name]). I like weird/unique names.
None of the above names are clicking with me. This charrie isn’t being created for a while now, so I have time. More suggestions?
Caractacus definitely crosses over into crazy, in my opinion, but since this appears to be for a character then that might not be problematic at all, depending on what exactly you’re going for. Caractacus [name]Jude[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] is certainly a very interesting and distinguished name and could make for a very interesting character.
I do think that Caractacus is very mismatched next to [name]Marissa[/name] and [name]Alexandria[/name], but again, depending on what you’re going for with the character that might not be a problem.
Is there any more information you can give us on the character and/or the story to help us out? I completely understand if you want to keep details vague in order to prevent possible plagiarism, but could you maybe give us a vague outline of the setting? Is it a fantasy world?
It’s for a [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] RPG Pottersworld.net
The family are herbologists, so I was thinking maybe something herb-related. [name]Basil[/name] is a name I like for boys, after all. xD The people handling the characters don’t mind a crazy-name for the boy. [name]Basil[/name] is the name of a character on the site, though - so I like staying with unique names that aren’t being used, already.
Oh, actually, I think that Caractarus [name]Griffin[/name] could fit into the [name]Harry[/name] [name]Potter[/name] world quite nicely! Given the setting, I take back what I said about it being too crazy. [name]Severus[/name] Snape, Regulus [name]Black[/name], Amycus Carrow, Caractarus [name]Griffin[/name] … fits right in.
Mhmm! I do like it, but I’m not sure it’s the perfect fit, yet. A lot of people I “play” with on the site dislike it. haha. I’m looking for a name with a similar vibe. I’d like to use [name]Jude[/name] as either a first or middle, but I sort of want something more “crazy” to go along with it.
I do like some hypenated names: [name]Cara[/name]-[name]Paige[/name]. Girl names come a LOT easier for me.
I love plant names for girls, but I can’t think of anything I like for a boy >.<
I do quite like the name [name]Indigo[/name]. I might very well use that. [name]Indigo[/name] [name]Jude[/name] has a nice ring, I think. And there’s the nature-association I was going for. ponders LOL
If you’re looking for a planet name for a boy, perhaps [name]Sorrel[/name] could be a possibility? Or maybe Crocus? [name]Linus[/name] and Linnaeus both came to mind as well, for whatever reason.
