I’m not sure which one I want, but I’ve been really leaning towards [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Grace[/name]… could someone give me their opinion? My daughter’s going to have this name her whole life, and I want it to be perfect.

My favourite of your choices is [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - she envelops femininity, spunk and class into a rather compact name and is just really sweet.
I love the combo as it is, but I think a longer middle could be even more spectacular, such as [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Eloise[/name], or [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] as others have mentioned. I think I only say this because [name]Lucy[/name] is a top 20 pick down here in Australia though! If you’re not completely sold on it, [name]Lucinda[/name] and [name]Lucille[/name] are great choices too. I have a niece named [name]Lucille[/name] who goes by [name]Lucie[/name], and it’s just darling
My second favourite would have to be [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Ann[/name] - She’s graceful and elegant in an understated sort of way - very charming indeed! I too love [name]Daisy[/name] as a nn for her, but [name]Maggie[/name] is just as endearing.
[name]Anna[/name] [name]Lily[/name] is quite pretty in my eye, and undeniably feminine, but she seems a little mismatched to me. [name]Anna[/name] [name]Lilian[/name] would go down better with me.
[name]Katherine[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is lovely also, but comes off - to me - as a little ‘beige’, like some spark is missing. She is undeniably elegant and feminine though, so she is still a gem. I find she looks more refined as [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], but that’s just a personal preference!
All round you have some absolutely gorgeous choices - no matter what, your daughter will have a lovely name!
Congratulations! I was 19 when I had my boys and was a single mom for 5 years after that, but in hindsight, while it was a tough haul, it was one of the best periods of my life! And [name]Pearl[/name] is another nickname option for you! I love [name]Margaret[/name]'s range of nicknames and I love her in full, so elegant & strong yet completely feminine. [name]Lucy[/name] is cute, but [name]Margaret[/name] is gorgeous!

[name]Margaret[/name]'s equally classic but far less common and still familiar to everyone.
For the record, my boys (I had twins) are [name]Leo[/name] & [name]Simon[/name]. Simple, distinctive (considering they are 22 now and still pretty much the only ones around their age with their names).

I know [name]Lucy[/name] is popular now but for me, it will always remind me of my grandmother who has two friends named [name]Lucy[/name]: her neighbor and her cleaning lady/friend.
