I was never keen on the name before, and straight up disliked it for a while due to meeting a negative person named [name]Macey[/name], but my SO’s super adorable little cousins, one of which is [name]Macy[/name], totally changed my perspective.
And lately I’ve been really loving the sound of it. It’s sweet on a child, but I can completely see it on a teen, adult, and elder.
I’m not sure which spelling I like more, [name]Macy[/name] or [name]Macey[/name]. I like [name]Macie[/name] but that’s too cutesy.
What do you think of [name]Macy[/name]/[name]Macey[/name]? Any middle names you like with it?
[name]Macy[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is an instant love of mine, but not “Special” enough.
[name]Macy[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is better.
It is cute, but I just can’t do it. It almost feels like it could be the [name]Aiden[/name]/[name]Braden[/name]/[name]Jaiden[/name]/[name]Hayden[/name] type of name for girls. There’s [name]Jaci[/name], [name]Macy[/name], [name]Lacey[/name], [name]Stacey[/name], [name]Tracey[/name], [name]Kacie[/name]…I know some of those names are dated obviously and that’s part of the problem for me. I like the [name]Macy[/name] spelling best, as it seems simplest to me and most widely used. I much much prefer [name]Maisie[/name], with that bit of a z sound instead. In fact I really like [name]Maisie[/name]! Which makes no sense bc it is so close to [name]Macy[/name], which I don’t like at all. Go figure.
I like [name]Macie[/name] as a nickname, it feels insubstantial as a full name. If your going to use it, though, [name]Macy[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is nice. I also thought of [name]Macy[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name].
[name]Macy[/name] isn’t my style, but I do think it sounds cute. I like the combo [name]Macy[/name] [name]Caroline[/name].
Other middle name suggestions:
Ooh, I like [name]Macy[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Macy[/name] [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Macy[/name] [name]Karina[/name], [name]Macy[/name] [name]Antonia[/name], [name]Macy[/name] [name]Noelle[/name], and [name]Macy[/name] [name]Olivia[/name]! As well as the PPs suggestion of [name]Macy[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name].
Spelling it ‘[name]Macy[/name]’ is best personally (and I’m not saying that just because that’s how my name is spelled). I’m not a huge fan of spelling a name in an unusual way just to make it unique (or more unique). And my name is [name]Macy[/name] [name]Lynn[/name] not Macylynn, one word.
[name]Macy[/name] isn’t my style, but there’s nothing wrong with the name. [name]Macy[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is excellent. I would definitely choose a middle name with strong sounds (hard C, R, hard G, V, T, D, etc). [name]Macy[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Macy[/name] [name]Karina[/name], and [name]Macy[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] would be great as well.
I knew a [name]Macey[/name] in high school. I think I remember her saying her mom wanted to spell it [name]Macy[/name], like the store, but her dad filled out the form and wrote [name]Macey[/name]. She was well-to-do, popular, charismatic, so those are the traits I associate with the name, not having known anyone else with that name. I’d go with a strong, classic middle so as to not go too cutesy.
I never used to like this name either, I tend to think of the store, but it has grown on me. I think it is a sweet name and could stand alone. I like the [name]Macey[/name] spelling best. [name]Macey[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] is a lovely combo.(either spelling, i like though.)
I love [name]Macy[/name]! I’ve loved it for years. I know it’s trendy, but I still love the sound, I think [name]Macy[/name] is adorable. I used to prefer [name]Macey[/name] (probably because I love [name]Lacey[/name]), but I like the [name]Macy[/name] spelling more now. I like it as a way to honor my grandmother’s MN, [name]Mae[/name], too.
I had named my old phone [name]Macy[/name], haha. I still really like it.
I am not a fan of [name]Macy[/name] as a full name but I see it’s cute appeal. It just doesn’t feel dignified to me…like other-[name]Acey[/name] names.
I HATED my name when I was little because people always thought of the store. I also went to a catholic school growing up and people would call me [name]Mary[/name] a lot because they thought [name]Macy[/name] was a typo. I like my name now (I’m 30), but when I have a kid I’d like a more classic name for them.
I know a [name]Macie[/name]. She is [name]Macie[/name] [name]Priscilla[/name].
I think [name]Macie[/name] is too babyish, like it won’t age well.
To me it’s a cute little girl or old lady name. The teen/adult age group just doesn’t work for me
