So I’m looking to redo my name lists, and I really think I could use more suggestions for the girls. For some reason, they just don’t come to me as easily as boy names. I like elegant names with a somewhat darker feel, but that’s not a requirement. If it’s not too much trouble, could you please tell me what you think of these names (Or at least some reasons why you wouldn’t choose certain ones from the list) and suggest a few more based on this list? [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - Downton [name_u]Abbey[/name_u]? A name that is very popular and therefor would not be my choice for a first name.
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u] - I like it! It’s short, strong but still feminine.
[name_f]Scarlet[/name_f]/t - I dislike this name because it contains the word “scar” and because of the book the scarlet letter.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] - it’s sweet but used so often already.

@c@29 Thank you! I actually love [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], but for some reason it’s never made it onto my list. I haven’t given [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] much of a second thought before now, but I just might after your suggestion.
@smithe I’m nowhere close to having kids, so I don’t think a name’s current popularity is very relevant, but I see what you mean about some of the names being very popular. Thank you for giving me some insight on the names! I love to know how other people perceive my favourites.
