I am expecting this summer and my husband and I are having some trouble with boy names. I seem to be drawn to simple one or two syllable names that are not too common but not too trendy either.
Examples would be:
[name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_u]Lex[/name_u]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]
I really used to love [name_u]Mason[/name_u], [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] until they topped the baby name list. Thanks for your help!
I have an odd combination of love for simplistic, sweet names, like you, yet I also adore those long elegant names. When it comes to short names, I prefer them not to be the diminutives of another name, rather stand alone. I’m not sure how you are with it, but here is my list that you might enjoy.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] all those names! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you want the whole name short? Or have you thought about a long name with a short nn? I absolutely love the short boy name thing too but I think it can look incomplete as a man’s name if it’s just [name_u]Kai[/name_u] or [name_m]Eli[/name_m]. Those two names are actually on my list, just as [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] and [name_m]Malakai[/name_m]. I would use the shorter names as everyday names and just use the other ones for full names. Another one on my list is [name_m]Zephaniah[/name_m] or Zeph. I absolutely love Biblical names as you can probably tell lol and I love the style of names you like too…the other names suggested also sound awesome! Good luck
