Ingrid, Larken or Alexandra

Which one do you prefer? I’m leaning towards Larken but Ingrid is a close second… although Alexandra has always been a favorite!

Tough choice! I do love [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] – distinctive and bright – but [name_m]Larken[/name_m] is lovely

[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is my fave, it feels like a timeless classic, under-used.

[name_m]The[/name_m] only thing about [name_m]Larken[/name_m] that gives me pause is how similar it sounds to ‘larrikin’ and ‘larking’.
In Aus/NZ slang a larrikin is someone who is cheeky/mischievous, but it did used to have a meaning closer to a hoodlum or trouble-maker. This might be quite Aus/NZ specific slang though. “Larking about” is just having boisterous silly fun, which isn’t a bad meaning. But I guess a name that sounds like larkin’ feels a bit less ‘serious’ in some way?

[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is the name of my angel baby so for me she’s packed with sentiment and therefore I am drawn to her. I think [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is elegant, regal, strong, rich in history and just has this classic princess flair. I think she’s stunning :sparkles:

My next favourite after [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] another elegant name packed with strength and has a gorgeous meaning.

[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] would be beautiful. I like [name_m]Larken[/name_m], but I prefer just [name_f]Lark[/name_f].

[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] nn [name_f]Indie[/name_f] has been growing on me quite a bit lately, but I’m such a sucker for [name_f]Lark[/name_f], so I couldn’t let go of [name_m]Larken[/name_m]. I would love to see [name_m]Larken[/name_m] [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] or [name_f]Lark[/name_f] [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]! Either option is beautiful, though; you can’t go wrong!

[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is a lovely classic, but a bit too expected for my taste. [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is one of those names I feel like I should like more, but for whatever reason it does nothing for me. I’d probably enjoy meeting a little [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] though. [name_m]Larken[/name_m] is the name I would choose. [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] as a nickname.

I love [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] but the Norwegian pronunciation, [name_f]Ingri[/name_f].

[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] for sure, but I love [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] as well, however slightly prefer [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] - [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] would be a lovely combination and alternative if you still like [name_m]Larken[/name_m]!
