We have decided on [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] for a first name and we both love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] for a middle, but my husband thinks that her initials being [name_m]RAN[/name_m] is a deal breaker. Opinions?
I don’t think that’s a deal breaker at all. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] is adorable. [name_m]RAN[/name_m] isn’t a bad word and doesn’t have bad connotations. I think it can be cool for kids to have word initials as long as they don’t spell out something inappropriate. I grew up with EMU myself, and I can’t remember anyone ever saying anything about it. I can’t imagine someone teasing her for those initials (assuming they even know her initials on the playground!).
