Initials Question

The name we are thinking of for our daughter would give her the initials HEK. We live in an English speaking country but are no native English speakers so I would like to double check with you if initials HEK mean something strange or offensive.
Thanks for your help

HEK is fine. It’s similar to the word “heck”, which is like an exclamation of frustration or disappointment sort of like “shucks”. That being said, I don’t think it’d be an issue at all!

Yep, HEK is okay. “Heck” isn’t necessarily a negative word, either—it can also be an exclamation of confusion, surprise, or a kind of “why not?” It’s a mild, polite substitute for the word “hell,” but it doesn’t carry the same dark, religious meaning as hell, if that makes sense.

I can’t imagine someone being teased for initials unless they spelled something truly horrible (my initials are GO, for example, and no one really comments on them.)
