Input on my girl list

Naming a sister for [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Laurina[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f]. Their middle names are family names. If this one is a girl, I want to use [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] as a middle.

My list:
[name_f]Briella[/name_f]/[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]: I like the sound and [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the meaning “God is my strength.”
Caylia: pronounced [name_f]CAY[/name_f]-lee-a. As an honour name for [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]?
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]: really like it but not sure if it sounds good with my other girls’ names.
[name_f]Jenna[/name_f]: like it but does it almost sound boring next to sisters names?
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]: don’t care for the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] connection.
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
Lynnae
[name_f]Madelyn[/name_f]: don’t like the way it sounds with MN [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].
[name_f]Makenna[/name_f]: really like it but not sure if it sounds good with my other girls’ names.
[name_f]Mattea[/name_f]
[name_f]Renae[/name_f]
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f]: has a connection to my maiden name.
[name_u]Sierra[/name_u]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]

Any input/ suggestions? Which do you think sounds best with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]? What would you name their sister?
Thank you!

Here are my top 3:

[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] - Tbh, I /love/ [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], + [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] next to each other. I can’t explain why, but this name next to your other girls’ names makes each of their names pop out so much. It fits so well in vibe and yet is so distinct in sound, and I like that it has meaning to you also.

[name_f]Jenna[/name_f] - Ik you said it might sound boring, but I see it as being a name she can grow into. I know a couple of [name_f]Jenna[/name_f]'s, but all of them are so unique that they ended up making their names have their own personality. [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], + [name_f]Jenna[/name_f] sounds like a close-knit set of sibs.

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f] - I quite like the name [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]. It’s very fierce but still feminine. It’s a little different in vibe from [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], but I can totally still see them as a sibset.

Proxicide: Thank you! [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] was my favourite for a long time and my first choice, but then I started having second thoughts about it!

My favs:
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]: I think it goes very well with the other girls. Sounds pretty and feels current.
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f]: I feel like this takes sounds from both names and brings them together. Familiar yet stands out.
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f]: Captures the pretty but not dainty vibe of the other names. They’re all cool, confident girls.

A few more:
[name_f]Bryony[/name_f]
[name_f]Camellia[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
[name_f]Diana[/name_f]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Julia[/name_f]
[name_f]Keira[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Mariana[/name_f]
[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Marielle[/name_f] from your sig!

My top choice is [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]. It has the same classic and feminine quality as [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and sounds like a great match.
I also like [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], [name_u]Sierra[/name_u], and [name_f]Makenna[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] fits with sisters [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] best.

Caylia, [name_u]Everly[/name_u] and Lynnae feel too trendy next to more “classic” names like [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Linnea[/name_f], [name_f]Mattea[/name_f], [name_f]Renae[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] all seem to be different styles as well.

I really like [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], but I agree that [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] sounds a little off. What about [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Cate[/name_f] as a variation of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]?

My favorite of your options is [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Jenna[/name_f] would also be in my top three. Other ideas:
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Giselle[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Siena[/name_f]

From your list, I really like:
[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Jenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Renae[/name_f] (though I’d spell it [name_f]Renee[/name_f])
[name_f]Savannah[/name_f]
[name_u]Sierra[/name_u] (my favourite on your list)

justthinkin- Thanks for your input! I also like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] from your list! DH knocked [name_f]Marielle[/name_f] off the list- it’s too close to a close relative’s name.

fromtheocean12- Thanks for your input! I do like [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Cate[/name_f] a lot on it’s own, but paired with our last name (also one syllable) I find it kind of abrupt! I could do [name_f]Catie[/name_f] too, but don’t love it quite as much!

erin beth- Thank you! I also like [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] and [name_f]Siena[/name_f]!

greyblue- Thank you!

I really like your daughter’s names! They are modern, distinctive, and feminine. With that style in mind, my top three from your list are:

  1. [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]: This would be a great choice for you, both from a stylistic and symbolic standpoint. Anytime you can find a name with both a great meaning and a great sound that matches with your other children, it’s a winner.
  2. [name_f]Jenna[/name_f]: I love this name with your daughters, and I don’t think it would sound at all boring with that strong “J” sound and beautiful style.
  3. [name_f]Savannah[/name_f]: This modern favorite works so nicely with your daughters, and is evocative and lovely.

Other ideas-
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]: If you like the sound of [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] but aren’t 100% sold, this name has many of its best sounds and is also flowing, elegant, and feminine. It comes with a great meaning, too: “yielding to prayer.” [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is modern like [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] but has been used periodically throughout history as well, with some great bearers of the name. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is an absolutely stunning name.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]: I think this name combines the best of [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] into one modern, spunky, gorgeous name that goes perfectly with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is evocative and beautiful.
[name_u]Ariel[/name_u]: This name is upbeat, bright, and has historical roots while still feeling contemporary. It is biblical (“lion of God”) and is a great middle ground between [name_f]Renae[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is playful and youthful, but also substantial.
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]: [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is on your list, but what about [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]? It shares the “n” sound with many of your favorites. ([name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Jenna[/name_f], [name_f]Linnea[/name_f], Lynnae, [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f], and [name_f]Renae[/name_f].) [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] looks nice, but might sound a little choppy. Perhaps [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Cate[/name_f]? [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] is another great choice, especially with [name_f]Cate[/name_f].
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f]/[name_u]Harper[/name_u]: These names have strong “r” sounds and remind me of [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. They are both modern and have lots of charm and sparkle. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] sound balanced and bright.
[name_u]Delaney[/name_u]: Many of the sounds of [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] and Lynnae, but more popular, like [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] and [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] (at #250). It keeps the “l” sound going, and contains the “y.” It has also risen to popularity only recently.
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]: One of the names best suited to [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] in terms of both style and popularity trends. [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] continues with the “l,” is modern without feeling trendy, and flows gracefully. It seems like the intersection between [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], Lynnae, and [name_f]Savannah[/name_f].
Best of luck, and I hope this helped!

Catheline [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f].

I actually think that as the names are, and stylistically, [name_f]Jenna[/name_f] fits in best with [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] & [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]. Personally, my favourites from your list are [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] & [name_f]Linnea[/name_f], but I don’t think these fit as well with siblings names.

[name_m]Even[/name_m] better, would be [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], but [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] fits ok too if you don’t like [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]. [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] just looks quite a bit trendier (as do Caylia, [name_u]Everly[/name_u], Lynnae, [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] & [name_f]Mckenna[/name_f]) than the likes of [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] & [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], while [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] would fit in perfectly. You could call [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]’.

Also, [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] (as an alternative to Caylia) would fit in with [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] & [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] beautifully, as would [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], spelled this way. That said, neither sound that great flow-wise, with [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] as middle.

Ultimately, my vote would go to [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] ‘[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]’ [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], but if you just don’t like [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] would be nice too, reason being, you seem to love Brielle most yourself.

With [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], I like [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Briella[/name_f]. [name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is lovely.

danakatherine- You seem to really get my style! Thanks for your input on my list, and I also love [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_u]Delaney[/name_u] and [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]!

sunniva- I honestly don’t like [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] as much as [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] on it’s own, and I’m not much of a nickname person. I love [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] too, however I can’t use it because of a close relative!

bellerose- Thank you, I think [name_f]Briella[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] sounds really good together too!

[name_f]Briella[/name_f]/[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]: I don’t know what it is but these have always felt a bit made up to me. They do go well with your other daughters’ names though.

Caylia: Again it feels a bit made up. I’m not sure it could be an honour for [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] to be completely honest.

[name_u]Everly[/name_u]: I adore [name_u]Everly[/name_u], it’s #2 on my list! For what it’s worth, I think it goes with siblings, and [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is wonderful!

[name_f]Jenna[/name_f]:There’s something sweet about [name_f]Jenna[/name_f], and I definitely don’t thinks she sounds boring besides sisters’ names.

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]: Another name that goes great with your sibset. Would spelling it [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] lessen the connection?

[name_f]Linnea[/name_f]: I love [name_f]Linnea[/name_f]! So sweet and unused. [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is great. This one though, I do feel is quite different from [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f].

Lynnae: Another one that feels made up, sorry. I much prefer [name_f]Linnea[/name_f].

[name_f]Madelyn[/name_f]: [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] is gorgeous but I agree that next to [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] it sounds a bit rhymey. Could you use [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] to honour [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]?

[name_f]Makenna[/name_f]: I do like the name, but it does feel a little ‘trashy’ next to your other girls names which are classy and elegant- I don’t mean to cause any offence!

[name_f]Mattea[/name_f] - I like [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] and think [name_u]Mattie[/name_u] is an adorable nickname, but I fear that with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] as a sister, the first syllables are too similar.

[name_f]Renae[/name_f] - this feels outdated to me, I feel like I can only imagine it on a grown woman!

[name_f]Savannah[/name_f]: great name, and it works wonders with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f].

[name_u]Sierra[/name_u]: Another one I like, and goes well with your other daughters’.

[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]: Sweet and simple! It feels a bit nicknamey but that doesn’t stop me liking it! In an unexpected way, it works with her sisters’.

Since you like [name_f]Jenna[/name_f] & [name_u]Sierra[/name_u], can I suggest [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]? This is my #1, and I feel it’d go wonderfully with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]

[name_f]EDIT[/name_f]: Sorry, just realised someone has already suggested [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]!

Thank you so much for your reply. One more thought: If you like [name_u]Everly[/name_u], [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], and Lynnae, what do you think of [name_u]Brinley[/name_u]? It’s a great, modern choice with an “l.”

My top 3:
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Laurina[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Elaine[/name_f] & ________ [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]

[name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] & [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] & [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] (I’d go with [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f])

carysmarie- Thank you for your input! I prefer the spelling of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] over [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. I never thought about the similarity with [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Mattea[/name_f]- thanks for pointing that out! And yes a few people have suggested [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]/[name_f]Siena[/name_f] which I think is very pretty as well!

danakatherine- I like [name_u]Brinley[/name_u] too, but have a niece with that name!

mcarolina- Thanks for your input!

I like [name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] & [name_f]Briella[/name_f] I like [name_f]Briella[/name_f] because its a cute name, matches well, sounds good with sisters and has 3 syllables just like her big sisters names. [name_f]Briella[/name_f] fits perfectly!

[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is my favorite!

[name_f]Natalie[/name_f], [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f], & [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] is perfect

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] [name_f]Catarina[/name_f]?
