I’ve been thinking lately I’d like to add to my lists and could use some inspiration! Based on this list, what would you recommend for me? If it helps, I love the imagery of northern woods when it comes to my boys’ list - mountains and forests and the aurora borealis and warm fires in cozy cabins and adventurous, sensitive, kind, and wise little boys. I love the imagery of swashbuckling adventurers and I love unusual Bible names (which I don’t really know how to fit that into my imagery but nothing makes me happier than names like Boaz, Barzillai, Pudens, and Aquila!). European names, nature names, cozy and cuddly names, memorable Bible characters. This feels like the essence of my boys’ list, to me.
I would love any ideas you have!
Thanks berries!
ETA: currently massively crushing on Drake, Vale, Frey, and Audric, if that helps you with which direction to go in!
I’m sorry if some of these are repeat replies to any of your other posts!

Oakshaw (not in use as a name as far as I know, but Oakenshaw is )

[name_m]Rayan[/name_m]
[name_m]Rainier[/name_m]
[name_m]Haytham[/name_m]
[name_m]Crispin[/name_m]
[name_m]Jarrah[/name_m]
Lmk if any of these hit the mark, I’d be very happy to come up with some more if so!
@VEL - I like [name_m]Zephan[/name_m], [name_m]Tor[/name_m] (not [name_m]Torsten[/name_m] as much, but I love [name_m]Tor[/name_m]! [name_m]Or[/name_m] even Torin), [name_m]Amory[/name_m], [name_m]Alban[/name_m], [name_m]Eben[/name_m], [name_m]Abner[/name_m], [name_m]Cyprian[/name_m] (but I don’t think more than Cyrus?), [name_m]Jethro[/name_m], and [name_m]Jules[/name_m] (I’ve been loving [name_m]Jules[/name_m] for a boy lately but I’d want a fuller name… I don’t love [name_m]Julian[/name_m] for me, so I’m not sure what’s left; but I love him! I’m sort of toying with [name_m]Juliano[/name_m] and love that it’s Portuguese but it doesn’t really fit that well with the rest of my style?).
@EdgeOfTheMeadow - none of of those really appeal, no, sorry! I do like [name_m]Harlan[/name_m] and [name_m]Rivers[/name_m] but wouldn’t use them. I LOVE [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] but only for a girl. I like the tree imagery with all the [name_m]Oak[/name_m] names but Oakenshaw just reminds me of Oakenshield
@Greyblue - thanks lovely! I like [name_m]Eben[/name_m], [name_m]Ewan[/name_m], [name_m]Conan[/name_m] (but not more than Ronan/Rowan?), [name_f]Waverly[/name_f] (but prefer this for a girl), [name_m]Aramis[/name_m], and [name_m]Valens[/name_m] reminds me of [name_f]Vale[/name_f] which I LOVE. [name_f]Vale[/name_f] is going back on the radar, I think he’s fantastic. I refuse to add [name_m]Aramis[/name_m] to my list on principle until I finish The Three Musketeers… he’s been my favorite musketeer in the BBC series that was released several years ago but on principle won’t use literary names on my list until I’ve at least read the book lol.
@shanade213 - thank you! I love [name_m]Adlai[/name_m] (and the similar sounding Adler), [name_m]Jericho[/name_m] (not sure I’d use it, but I like it?), and [name_m]Jethro[/name_m]! This thread is making me wonder about Jethro; he’s so jazzy and vintage. I think he could make for a lovely middle.
Also tossing about [name_m]Frey[/name_m] today… I think he’s super cool. [name_f]Vale[/name_f], [name_m]Amory[/name_m], and [name_m]Frey[/name_m] seem to pique my interest most, so maybe something along those lines?
