International Name Trends

I was wondering if you were thinking about using any of these names would it affect your decision? Negative/Positive.

And what you found interesting about the article. Australia, it seems, is ahead of international trends. Although this is most likely because of our small population compared to the US and UK.

The rise of [name_m]Braxton[/name_m] is truly remarkable. My friends nephew is a [name_m]Braxton[/name_m] but born in 2011. I’m really getting tired of [name_f]Emily[/name_f] though.

Nope, not the only one! I always have that thought when I see this name. And I agree with the other stuff you said as well ;).

I get your point. Perhaps it would be best to ask [name_f]Anna[/name_f] (who wrote the blog) how she came to her conclusion.

[name_m]Braxton[/name_m] is from home and away. Its the last name of the river boys who have quite a major role in the show.
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] replied with this I hope it wasn’t too misleading saying Australia was most ahead of the trends – all three countries had names that were ahead and behind the trends.
But the names that were furthest ahead in the trends were [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f], popular in Australia, and the names that were furthest behind the trends were [name_m]Gavin[/name_m] and [name_f]Kylie[/name_f], popular in the US.
Because we have the smallest population and the US has the largest, while the UK is in the middle, that seemed like the most obvious reason for the difference. And [name_m]New[/name_m] Zealand is smaller than us, and they are a bit further ahead in the trends than we are.
Sorry its so long I simply copied and pasted her response.
