Intro? and Sibling name help

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone. I have been lurking here for a few days now and decided it was time to register and start participating.

I have two little boys, [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Mathieu[/name_m] (goes by [name_m]Mathieu[/name_m] which is a family name) and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m]. We are currently TTC and to pass the time I am trying to come up with some names. I would appreciate any suggestions you are willing to give. The only two names H has kind of likes so far is [name_m]Charles[/name_m] and [name_m]Joseph[/name_m].

[name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u] are two of my favorites, so I love seeing them in use. [name_m]Mathieu[/name_m] is fantastic as well.

I think [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is more wearable than [name_m]Charles[/name_m] for some reason, just because [name_m]Charles[/name_m] seems so dated. You can also see if you like Josaiah or [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], to match the recognizable-but-unique style of your other children.

[name_f]Welcome[/name_f] to Nameberry. I like both [name_m]Charles[/name_m] and [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] for sibling names with your boys. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Charles[/name_m] end the same way, it’s not a big deal because [name_u]James[/name_u] goes by [name_m]Mathieu[/name_m]. Therefore, I have to go with [name_m]Charles[/name_m] due to my softness for the nickname [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. Here are some other suggestions.

I absolutely [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], and [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. The only one that H hasn’t completely vetoed is [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]. He is killing me.

What are some of your husband’s favorite names? I would ask him to make a list of ten or fifteen names, and we can go from there.

I really wish he would. He has always hated coming up with names but has absolutely no problem vetoing them lol. I am going to press him a little more and hopefully I can get at least a few out of him.

That really is a short list. You love [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], and it’s one of the names on your husband’s list. It complements [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]William[/name_m] nicely. Perhaps you could find a more unusual second name to complement [name_m]Mathieu[/name_m] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u]?

3) [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
They’re classic and Biblical which I love and fit in perfectly with your other little boys. I think that [name_m]Otto[/name_m] would make a fine middle name choice too!X
