Which spelling do you prefer for a boy?
I pronounce them both the same way - eye-ra - so it’s really which do you think is more aesthetically pleasing in written form, and/or which looks more ‘male’ if that makes sense
[name_u]Ira[/name_u], I would automatically assume [name_f]Eira[/name_f] was a girl. I also prefer [name_u]Ira[/name_u] as far as aesthetics.
Definitely [name_u]Ira[/name_u]. [name_f]Eira[/name_f] is a girls name and I think the pronunciation is much less clear than [name_u]Ira[/name_u] anyway, as it can be Ay-ruh or Eye-ruh, whereas [name_u]Ira[/name_u] is just the latter to my knowledge.

Also agree I think [name_u]Ira[/name_u] is the way to go.
Agree that [name_u]Ira[/name_u] reads masculine and [name_f]Eira[/name_f] feminine (to me)
