Iris or Irene?

[name]Both[/name] [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Irene[/name] are on my list. I love them both and they both have lovely meanings. Which one do you like better?

I actually really like [name]Irene[/name]. [name]Love[/name] the meaning, love the clunkyness on a little girl, and the nickname [name]Renie[/name]! It’s hard to chose, both are great

I love [name]Irene[/name]!

I prefer [name]Irene[/name]. It feels like the stronger name to me.

[name]Iris[/name]!!!

I prefer [name]Irene[/name].

I love [name]Irene[/name] (but then again, it’s my middle name!) I also have a cat named [name]Iris[/name], so I think of it as more of an animal name!

[name]Iris[/name] is more modern but also more ancient. I love the flower, the “goddess of rainbows” thing. It does seem to have more potential to become a niche mini-trend.
I love [name]Irene[/name]'s vintage flavor and her strength.

[name]Iris[/name] by a mile. [name]Irene[/name] feels very dated to me- sorry.

If it’s in English, then [name]Iris[/name]. I do like [name]Irene[/name] in the middle name spot in English, and I [name]LOVE[/name] it in Spanish.
[name]Iris[/name] is one of my personal favourites, though

[name]Irene[/name] definitely!

Hmmm…this is a tough one - both are gorgeous. I’m partial to [name]Irene[/name] since it is my gran’s name and it means peace. I was going to use it for the middle name for my second child who we were told was a girl - but surprise! We had another perfect boy. Soo I may or may not ever get to use [name]Irene[/name], we are looking like an all boy family:)

[name]Iris[/name] for sure!I feel like [name]Irene[/name] is kinda dated.[name]Iris[/name] feels fresh, sweet and unexpected!

[name]Irene[/name]- I love it!

I prefer [name]Iris[/name]!

[name]Iris[/name] feels like a very fun free spirit while [name]Irene[/name] feels very grounded and sophisticated. It really just depends on what image you are looking for.

[name]Irene[/name] is one of my favorite names so definitely this. I’d love to see it used more often. I’m not crazy about [name]Iris[/name]. Probably because it makes me think of the anatomy of the eye. That’s the association I have.

I definitely prefer [name]Iris[/name]. It’s a lot more modern and unusual in a bohemian sort of way. I consider [name]Irene[/name] to be very dated and inauthentically Irish, in the same class as names like [name]Erin[/name] and [name]Shannon[/name].

I love [name]Iris[/name]! More feminine and goddess connection…Perfect [name]IMO[/name]!

I prefer [name]Iris[/name]!
