I’m trying to find some names from [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] (Celtic or Gaelic) with a bit of history and a story and I’m looking at Irish Mythology. I found
Tadg (as in mac Nuadat)
[name_f]Eimear[/name_f]
Luchta / Luchtaine
[name_f]Do[/name_f] any berries have a fancy for Irish Mythology? Any help with pronouncing would be helpful
[name_f]My[/name_f] Favourites are:
”ine
[name_f]Aoife[/name_f]
[name_f]Brigid[/name_f]
[name_f]Deirdre[/name_f]
Étaín
[name_f]Meabh[/name_f] ([name_f]Maeve[/name_f])
[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]
I’ve heard Tadg ([name_m]Tadhg[/name_m]) but not the others
I can best describe it as [name_m]Toy[/name_m] with a guh sound on the end.
Anyone want to confirm?
