Is ‘[name_u]Avi[/name_u]’ a girl name or boy name or animal name(Elephant, bird) in Australia or other western countries? Please suggest. Thank you
I’m in the United States and know two people named [name_u]Avi[/name_u]- one boy (it’s his full name) and one girl (short for [name_f]Avianna[/name_f]). There is also a male author who goes by [name_u]Avi[/name_u] (he writes children’s books). I would assume an [name_u]Avi[/name_u] was a boy, but wouldn’t be too surprised to meet a girl with the name. I hope this helps!
It seems unisex to me.
Avi feels very unisex to me! I prefer it on a boy personally, but it absolutely also works for a girl!!
Boy
It feels unisex, prefer on boys personally xx
Definitely unisex. I like it on a boy and girl equally. It strikes me as bird themed due to avi linking to aviary, avian etc
To me it’s unisex, but I prefer it on a girl as a nickname to [name_f]Aviva[/name_f].
The only person I’ve ever heard it on is a boy! He had a twin sister, Av@ni.
Avi feels completely unisex to me but I also strongly associate it to a nickname for an avatar. Which has me wondering if Avatar might be a cool unisex name with the nickname [name_u]Avi[/name_u].
