It’s a name! It’s also a word of course but I think it’s well-used as a name/nickname.

I think it can definitely be a standalone name! It’s short and sweet. It also reminds me of [name_u]Dash[/name_u] from the Incredibles which isn’t a bad association in my opinion.

I think it’s both; but I do prefer it as a nn for [name_m]Dashiel[/name_m]

If [name_u]Chase[/name_u], [name_m]Lance[/name_m], [name_u]Chance[/name_u] and [name_u]Ash[/name_u] are names, [name_u]Dash[/name_u] can be too.

I think it’s both! I see it as a nickname for [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] too. I also like [name_m]Rush[/name_m].

Definitely works as a name. I prefer it used as a nickname for [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m], but it works just fine on its own.

i see it as a name–i actually know a dash! i really see it as a nn for dashiell, though, or i think of the Incredibles character.
