Is Eamon too close to Aaron/Ethan/Evan?

I am very closely related to an [name_m]Aaron[/name_m], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m], and [name_u]Evan[/name_u]. One is my brother’s name and the other two are first cousins. But I really like the name [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] and would consider it on my own son. Is it too weird though, to give my son that name given the phonetic similarities to his would-be uncles?

[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] is a version of the name [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] so I don’t think the names are related. The only think the four names have in common is that they end in “n”. [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] is much less popular than your relatives names as well so that’s a bonus.

I think you could get away with [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] since these people would be his cousins and his uncle. [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] is probably too phonetically close to [name_m]Aaron[/name_m]/[name_u]Evan[/name_u]/[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] to appear in the same sibset, but it’s fine if those names belong to extended family.

That wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. I love the name [name_m]Eamon[/name_m]…you should definitely use it!

[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] is great! I also don’t think it’s too close to the others listed.

I think you could use the name, it would be a bit weird if the 4 would be brothers but since that’s not the case I think you can definitely use the name.
