Perhaps in another language that I am not familiar with, but I have never heard of Eel used in any other way than the name of the animal.

No

^^

No, I’m usually one for wild nature names but this one is a little too icky

No, it’s just the name of an animal

I think Eel would make a great name, along the lines of Rook, [name_m]Bear[/name_m], [name_m]Colt[/name_m], [name_u]Teal[/name_u], etc.

I can’t see this as a name, either, sorry!

maybe for another language.

Not that I know of. I’m fairly well-versed in most name origins but have never come across this one. However, [name_u]Elim[/name_u] is a stunning alternative with a similar sound if you like the strong ‘E’ and ‘L’ sound in a short name.

It’s a name for an Eel!

I would guess not.

I wouldn’t think so…
[name_m]Even[/name_m] in Icelandic Eel isn’t used as a name, and we even think Puffin and [name_f]Otter[/name_f] are names :joy:

I don’t see it as a name, sorry. What about [name_u]Eli[/name_u]?

No, sorry. I couldn’t do it myself, but maybe you could use it somewhere that’s so connected to the animal.
