Thank you again to all who have helped with the naming of our baby girl! Your help has been invaluable. (And I’m also sorry that this is something like my third post in three days. Oops!)
After sleeping both the names ([name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Etta[/name_f]), I’ve really come around to [name_f]Etta[/name_f]. It’s different, pretty uncommon but still familiar, and it honors both sides of our family. DH and I both really like it now.
However, maybe because I’ve always been so afraid of getting name regret or because I overthink things so much, I’m a little worried as to if it goes with our other names: [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], and [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. Particularly our girls names.
I think I’m just being paranoid and I know it shouldn’t really matter how well a name goes as long as you love it, but I could really use some reassurance that it does fit with our other names.
So sorry for bugging you all with this again and thank you so much for all your help!
I think it goes better with your other names than [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]! They all have more of an offbeat quirky, kind of retro style, which I’d say [name_f]Etta[/name_f] definitely has, where [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] I’d call more of a romantic feminine Victorian style. I also like that it matches the others in terms of length without rhyming or being too matchy
So yeah, I think it’s a really good choice (although with those two names, you can’t really go wrong)
I think [name_f]Etta[/name_f] goes great with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] (and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]!)–I think it goes better than [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], in fact! [name_f]Etta[/name_f]'s a lovely choice.
I adore [name_f]Etta[/name_f]. I love its sweet, vintage feel… I think [name_f]Etta[/name_f] fits in wonderfully with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], and [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] is lovely too though. Can’t go wrong, both are spunky and sweet like [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f]. good luck
