Is Graham too close to the name Adam?

We’re shuffling this name around, just like with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is our top pick as of right now, but we’re not 100% sold quite yet. However, we think [name_m]Adam[/name_m] and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] sound kind of similar, especially since they both end with “-am.” [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s too matching to not use for our son potentially? Also, if you don’t mind, what do you think of the name [name_m]Graham[/name_m] in general?

Our last name is [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], but we think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] sounds cute too.

Thanks for your help!

I do not think [name_u]GRAY[/name_u]-əm or [name_m]Gram[/name_m] sound like A-dəm. I adore both [name_m]Graham[/name_m] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I think they both sound fine with your surname.

The only similarity I see between [name_m]Adam[/name_m] and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] is that they both (depending on pronunciation) end with a schwa and an M. That’s not too similar at all.

I think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] is a warm, handsome name. It sounds great with your surname.

I dont think [name_m]Graham[/name_m] and [name_m]Adam[/name_m] are too close at all

I don’t think they are too close.

I think they’re fine together.
