Well … uh … yeah …
I don’t think [name]Heaven[/name] is as bad, but I still find it tacky.
I wouldn’t.
My personal thought on the name [name]Heaven[/name], i love it, loved it so much that 11 years ago i named my little girl, [name]Heaven[/name] [name]Trinity[/name], at the time, never heard of anyone else with the name, now hear it fairly often,no I am not a rabid bible thumper, but i wanted a name you didnt hear, and one that was beautiful as she was, The night she was born, my mom went to a revival and when she walked in they were playing “how Beautiful [name]Heaven[/name] must be,” and my mom told them why yes she is.and yes her brother has a biblical name as well, [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Christian[/name],
I dislike both. Navaeh is tacky, and [name]Heaven[/name] seems like a lot to live up to. Does that make sense?
I seriously don’t get this ridiculous opposition to [name]Neveah[/name]. It’s nice sounding, it’s kinda clever, it’s not really all that tacky. It’s like naming your kid [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Faith[/name], to me. Sorry it hasn’t been around for 500 years, guess that makes it dreadful.
[name]Heaven[/name] is too blatant for me, personally. I’d say it’s worse than [name]Neveah[/name] for this reason. At least with [name]Neveah[/name] you aren’t SAYING [name]Heaven[/name] all day. It just has that rather unsubtle meaning. I’d feel weird telling [name]Heaven[/name] to behave.
I think [name]Haven[/name] is cute, though. It’s less used in common conversation, and has a more broad/generic meaning. The long A sound also makes it sound nicer to me, more fluid. [name]Heaven[/name] sounds so short in comparison.
So [name]Heaven[/name] is worse than [name]Neveah[/name], and [name]Haven[/name] is much better than both.
Not a fan of either name.
[name]Heaven[/name] and [name]Nevaeh[/name] are both just awful to me. [name]Haven[/name] strikes me as a totally different league. I agree with the pp that mentioned [name]Jessica[/name] [name]Alba[/name], it’s a little celeb-y right now because of her, but otherwise I think it’s a lovely name. [name]One[/name] of my favorite authors is [name]Haven[/name] Kimmel, she’s amazing.
I actually like [name]Nevaeh[/name] more than [name]Heaven[/name], and I am not a [name]Nevaeh[/name] fan. But at least she could go by [name]Neve[/name] or [name]Neva[/name]. [name]Heaven[/name] is just so tacky to me, and yes, it sounds like a stripper name, like [name]Candy[/name]. I think you have to be careful with word names, especially as a first name. If you love [name]Heaven[/name], stick it in the middle slot. [name]Haven[/name] is a bit better imo but I still think it’s better suited for a middle.
(The other problem with [name]Heaven[/name] is she will probably get jokes about heavin’ or heavy. Not worth it imo)
