Is Isabella boring to you?

[name_u]Or[/name_u] already dated?

What about [name_f]Bella[/name_f] as a nickname?

Is [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] less dated or boring?

Thanks.

[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] isn’t boring to me- it was really popular around the time I was born, so there are a lot of them in my general age group but I don’t think it’s currently being ‘overused’. [name_f]Bella[/name_f] is a sweet nickname, I also love [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]!

I love it I have 2 family members with this name they spell it [name_f]Izabella[/name_f] and not [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] but I like both spellings I also like it spelled [name_f]Isabela[/name_f]

I don’t find this name boring - it reminds me of [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_m]Linton[/name_m] from Wuthering Heights, it has flair and style, it’s bright and elegant. I don’t find it dated - more timeless. [name_f]Bella[/name_f] isn’t my favourite, but it’s still sweet, versatile and simple! Other nicknames I like for it: [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] and [name_f]Isby[/name_f]! There’s also [name_u]Issy[/name_u], Sabbie, [name_u]Bell[/name_u], Abi/Abby and [name_f]Ella[/name_f]

[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is nice too

I think it is a pretty name, especially when not shortened to [name_f]Bella[/name_f] or [name_u]Izzy[/name_u], but I do find a bit lackluster. I’ve heard it so often that it feels just…there…

[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] feels a whole lot fresher. I like those two a lot.

[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is lovely :blush::white_heart:

[name_f]Bella[/name_f] is lovely as a nickname but I also like [name_u]Isa[/name_u] (ee-zah) which feel a bit fresher :crescent_moon::sparkles:

It is fine, I actually find [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] more boring (because [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is very used here and [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is rarer)

Isabella is always a bright, dazzling name to me, no matter how many I know. I like Bella or the one syllable Belle as nn’s.
Is Isabelle less dated? I don’t find either dated, but Isabelle is a little less sparkly to my personal taste.

On the contrary [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] / [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] are more boring to me because I’ve known so. Many. Girls. With that name in school growing up and now that I’m out of it too (ie. friends of younger siblings or coworkers…)
I think [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is far from being the boring one though perhaps the popularity was tilted one direction or the other depending upon where you live. That being said it’s ironic that I find the name/nickname [name_f]Bella[/name_f] to be very overdone and boring, it’s a pretty name don’t get me wrong and easy on the ears but [name_f]Bella[/name_f] [name_u]Swan[/name_u] from the [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] saga left a scar regarding this name. However; I find the name/nickname [name_f]Belle[/name_f] to be very pleasing and how uncommon it is only adds to the favorability.
So haha isn’t that weird? [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is a little drab for me these days but [name_f]Belle[/name_f] on the other hand is not and alternately, [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] seems fresh and new and vogue to me but Bella… far from it.

How about spicing up the nickname options a little bit? [name_u]Isa[/name_u] (EE-sah) or [name_f]Iza[/name_f] have caught my eye the last couple years and would also do well with [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] or [name_f]Izadora[/name_f] as a full name.

It’s never been a favourite of mine, but I don’t think it’s boring or dated.

Its still a top 10 name so definitely not dated. Not boring but a little frilly

Far from boring or dated but maybe slightly overused and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] would be even worse in that regard since at one point in my academic life there was 7 people in our year group either with this spelling or the [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] Variant but nevertheless a really nice name and I prefer [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]

I still love [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] less so. Don’t like [name_f]Bella[/name_f], too common. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] or [name_f]Ismene[/name_f].

I find it boring and overused. The [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] association is still strong for me, too.

Honestly yea. It’s extremely popular for multiple age groups where I am so it’s just very overused to me. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] I prefer in general and is more of a classic to me. I don’t like [name_f]Bella[/name_f] in general

You do see [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] a lot. [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is also lovely but less prevalent and could have all the same nicknames, Iz, [name_u]Izzy[/name_u], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f].

[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is very popular, but it is still lovely!! [name_f]My[/name_f] preference is [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], but I do like [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] a lot.

No! I think it’s similar to [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] or [name_f]Emma[/name_f] I’m that it’s been popular for a while now and will likely continue to stay relatively popular.
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] doesn’t feel as lively to me which is why I don’t like it quite as much, it’s pretty but also just a bit boring to me.
