Is Jasper Edward too 'Twilight'?

I love both names together, but worry people may think I’m Twilight-obsessed (which I’m not). Thoughts?

Is there a [name]Jasper[/name] in Twilight too? I haven’t real the book, or seen the movies, so for me not a problem. I don’t associate any names with that Thing.

I’m hoping the Twilight craze dies down some once the movies are finished. I’m tired of wonderful names being off the table because they’re considered “too Twilight”.

With that said, I think some other names in your signature might sound better together than [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Edward[/name]. I don’t think they sound particularly good since they’re both 2 syllable names with emphasis on the same syllable.

[name]Theodore[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] or [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] is nice. I also think [name]Arthur[/name] [name]Edward[/name] works somewhat better than [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Edward[/name].

I think it is too Twilight, but that doesn’t mean it’s not usable, it just means you have to be prepared for people to be like “Oh like Twilight” or “you must be a Twilight fan”

What about [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Edmund[/name]? Calms the [name]Cullen[/name] factor down a bit

No. [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Edward[/name] is a handsome combination. It is time to stop disqualifying names because they appear in Twilight.

Except maybe Reneesme! lol.

I would assume you liked Twilight if you named your child [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Edward[/name] I like [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Edwin[/name] as an alternative though.

No.

It’s gonna die out and then nobody except the diehards will remember the names much less connect them–both are pretty regular names so it’s not as though there’s no other connotation.

Maybe [name]Casper[/name] instead of [name]Jasper[/name]?

You know movie crazes don’t last forever, but kids do last for quite a while. Maybe some people will think your twilight crazy, but just explain that you just like the names. I don’t think you should not do it just because of what some people will think.

[name]Both[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Edward[/name] are two perfectly fine names. Since most people don’t use both names on a regular basis (i.e. he would be [name]Jasper[/name] E. Lastname) I don’t think the average person will make the connection. If you go and name other children [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Alice[/name], and [name]Isabella[/name], then I would say you are twilight crazy--

I really don’t think so. First of all, I do think Twilight will die down. Second of all, they are both usable and legitimate names in their own right, not invented like [name]Renesmee[/name]. I’m not crazy about them together, but if you love them, who cares? [name]Jasper[/name] barely registers as a Twilight name for me, and [name]Edward[/name] is a classic, definitely not defined by one series.
