Is Lucianna a created name for Luciana?

I am loving the name [name_f]Luciana[/name_f] but pronounced [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] plus [name_f]Anna[/name_f] rather then [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-Arna. So I wondered if I spelled it Lucianna gets the pronunciation I want? Does Lucianna look tacky? Does Lucianna get the pronunciation I want? What do you think of Lucianna in general?

[name_m]Just[/name_m] a reminder I am looking to rename myself not a child.

I would most likely pronounce Lucianna as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Ahna[/name_f] the first time around, not [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f].

I pronounce it [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f] but I appreciate you saying you would read if differently as other people might do the same.

If you want it pronounced like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] plus [name_f]Anna[/name_f], I’d just go with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f]. With Lucianna you’d probably have to spell it out for people letter by letter, and is prone to pronunciation issues (I wasn’t sure whether it was -ahna or -anna myself), whereas with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Anna[/name_f] you could just say “it’s [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], hyphen, [name_f]Anna[/name_f]” and the pronunciation is intuitive.

Thank you for your input. The trouble I don’t care for hyphens much. I also don’t mind correcting people. I would rather spell it Lucianna and then correct people who need correcting rather then have the hyphen. What about if it was spelled Lucyanna?

I think Lucianna would be fine, I might say [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-arna first but it’s easy to correct.
I’m really not keen on the Lucyanna spelling, it looks too made up to me. If you’re going to stick with no hyphen, I think Lucianna is best.

I would read it as Lucy-Anna, not Lucy-Ahna. I prefer Luciana in look and sound, though. I don’t think Lucianna looks made up, but I would date it with names like Mary-Anne and Julianne. However, Lucyanna looks like a kre8tiv spelling to me.

I would go with Lucianna spelling. I would pronounce this [name_f]Luci[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] unless told otherwise.
