definitely! it’s such a beautiful name, and isn’t too far off from current names like maeve, audrey, mabel, edith, etc.
additionally, a family/interior design/etc. blogger i’ve been following for a few years, design mom, has a 20-something year old daughter named [name_f]Maude[/name_f], who suits the name incredibly well! i think that knowing/knowing of someone with a more ‘dated’ name makes it seem very wearable.

Yes! She is so lovely and strong, and could so easily be on a little kid or an adult woman.
Absolutely! [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Margie[/name_f] come to mind, and I love all of those. I love the name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f] (as in L.M. [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u], author of [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables).

I agree it is similar to [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] so why wouldn’t it be? Unfortunately where I live it is a company name so it wouldn’t work but overseas? Yes for sure

Yes! I think it’s already making a comeback. It sounds fresh now, not clunky.
[name_m]Judd[/name_m] Apatow and [name_u]Leslie[/name_u] Mann have an adult daughter named [name_f]Maude[/name_f].
I love the film [name_m]Harold[/name_m] and [name_f]Maude[/name_f] so I’m watching [name_f]Maude[/name_f] to see just how popular it gets.

i love maude
!! she’s totally ready for a comeback
Nope, this name sounds rough and unpleasant.
I think it is ready for a comeback; I know it was popular decades ago, but I don’t actually know many older women with this name. I would love to meet a young [name_f]Maude[/name_f]! The nickname [name_f]Maudie[/name_f] sounds sweet. [name_f]Maud[/name_f] Gonne was a kickass lady and would make a good namesake.
I prefer spelling [name_f]Maud[/name_f], but other than that I think it’s ready to come back… at least it was popular in Netherlands.
