Just interested to see where people sit on Maude? I’m starting to warm to it and has a special meaning for my family so interested whether berries see it coming back as a restored vintage gem

I soooo want to meet a gaggle of little Maudes. One of my favorite names and if my husband liked it even half as much as I did it would’ve been a contender for my first pregnancy. I so hope it’s ready for a comeback… I think it’s about time.

Maybe slowly…it should start coming back as a middle name. I don’t think people are ready to understand the beauty of [name_f]Maude[/name_f]. It looks gorgeous, yes, but the pronunciation is something to get used to. It’s literally just “mod.” That’s what bothered me when I first saw it but I warmed up to it sure enough

Totally ready I think. I met a little [name_f]Maude[/name_f] the other day and she wore it well. I think it’s one of those names where a lot of people only warm to it when there’s a little human in front of them. It can really change perceptions. I pronounce it MAWD; the “au” sound is longer and similar to [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] as opposed to [name_m]Todd[/name_m].

I think this name is ready for a revival to me it feels similar to [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] which is very fashionable so I don’t feel why [name_f]Maude[/name_f] couldn’t be!

So excited everyone feels it’s ready for a comeback - might take some convincing for my partners side of the family but agree once you see the name on a little person it totally changes the feel.
