Is Miley ruined?

Sorry, I think [name_f]Miley[/name_f] is doomed at this point. It’s a little cutesy for my taste anyway. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Mila[/name_f] instead? (mee-luh)

I like this idea. [name_f]Miley[/name_f] is too associated with [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] right now, and there is no way on earth I’d want my daughter to be anything like her. I think you could even get away with [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], and nn her [name_f]Miley[/name_f].

Too soon… Especially right now… [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] is SO close to coming off those rails, and will fade into obscurity like the rest… But I’m not a fan of using celebrity names anyway. I imagine introducing my baby to people, and cringe at the thought that people might compare that sweet little baby girl with that train wreck of a ho… Maybe in generations to come [name_f]Miley[/name_f] might be safe to use…

@superjessieful, [name_f]Maile[/name_f] is awesome! Did not even know it existed in such a beautiful form. As for the name [name_f]Miley[/name_f], and spelling [name_f]Miley[/name_f], I can’t say I could do that to any child in good conscience. [name_f]Love[/name_f] the suggestion of [name_f]Mila[/name_f], too : )

Yes, for now but as your child grows up no one will remember who [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] was. It wasn’t an especially nice name to begin with.

I like the name [name_f]Miley[/name_f] as well. [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] is the only reason I would not use the name. If you like the name [name_f]Miley[/name_f] go for it. Its a name. If people think [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] then that’s who they think of. But they should not judge you or your you baby for that name. Go for it!
