Why don’t I ever hear of [name_f]Renata[/name_f], is she just not pleasant?
it is a pretty harsh.
makes me think of a battleships name.
and think of ‘de nada’.
somehow its still #749
prefer [name_f]Renee[/name_f]
Well, in my case, it’s just a name that I have never heard before. So, when I say it out loud, it just sounds like ricotta.
I know a [name_f]Renata[/name_f]. She is strong-minded and intelligent, with wicked-beautiful hair, so that’s what I associate the name with :]
[name_f]Renata[/name_f] is such a gorgeous name! I don’t know why it’s not more popular. I imagine a [name_f]Renata[/name_f] would be a posh girl from old money so maybe people feel it’s too much?
[name_f]Renata[/name_f] doesn’t sound at all harsh to me. The one I met was intelligent and kind. The names I find harsh usually have hard ‘g’ sounds, like [name_f]Agatha[/name_f].
I don’t think so. I know a girl with this name, and it’s so spunky and sweet.
i actually like it. sounds unique but not too out there for me.
[name_f]Renata[/name_f] makes me think of Italian opera singer [name_f]Renata[/name_f] [name_m]Scotto[/name_m] because it was from her singing that made me aware of the name. What’s harsh about [name_f]Renata[/name_f]? It’s lush and romantic. [name_u]Ren[/name_u] is a pretty cool nickname too! It’s a more exotic alternative to the overused and tired [name_f]Renee[/name_f]. I guess it may be an acquired taste.
I think it’s lovely and not harsh at all. It’s more common in Europe (although a bit dated in some places), but it could work in [name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]America[/name_u] as it’s easy to pronounce. I really like it!
I really like it. The [name_f]Renata[/name_f] I know is sweet and soft-spoken but smart. It’s beautiful and makes me think of opera, as [name_u]Mischa[/name_u] said. [name_u]Ren[/name_u], [name_u]Rennie[/name_u], [name_u]Nata[/name_u], [name_f]Nati[/name_f], [name_f]Rea[/name_f], [name_f]Rena[/name_f]…
Anyway, it’s very pretty.
I adore [name_f]Renata[/name_f] - I find her strong yet elegant. My husband’s grandmother is named [name_f]Renate[/name_f] (pronounced with a shwa ending), but she commonly goes by [name_f]Rena[/name_f].
[name_f]Renata[/name_f] isn’t too harsh, just not very common. I had a classmate named [name_f]Renata[/name_f], so I associate it with a quieter personality, but it seems like a pretty versatile name.
I adore [name_f]Renata[/name_f] - she’s strong with a continental European elegance and charm. She’s unexpected in such a wonderful way, but she also has unassuming nick names that blend in so easily with more common names. The [name_f]Renata[/name_f] I know often goes by [name_f]Rena[/name_f] (although I personally prefer the full name!).
[name_f]Renata[/name_f] isn’t harsh at all. I would imagine that it’s in the 700’s because it’s a name used by the Latino population. It’s a great name and I prefer it to [name_f]Renee[/name_f].
I think it’s beautiful. I once knew a gorgeous and sweet, little, half-Egyptian girl called [name_f]Renata[/name_f].
I think it’s very pretty.
The only thing I dislike about it is the “not” sound. Gives it a negative vibe.
[name_f]Renata[/name_f] feels strong to me, but not harsh. She does feel middle aged & maybe Eastern European, but only as mush as [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] does…so basically it is just as doable on a little one!
I just met a [name_f]Renate[/name_f]! I’ve never heard that name before. It’s definitely different but, that’s what I like about it : )
