Once upon a time, [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] was our girl name pick, but now we’re having a boy! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband still likes [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] for our son, but I’m on the fence. If you vote boy, what do you think would be a good middle name?
Personally I prefer it for a girl, but it is very unisex and would work equally well for a boy, too!

I picture a girl, but it’s traditionally unisex so it would work for any gender.
I’m not good with combos unfortunately. What would you like a middle name to do? Round the combo sound-wise, make it clear it’s a male name, honour family? Provide a second option for him? Use a guilty pleasure?
I can’t decide, it think it’s very unisex. 
I think I’d want a traditionally masculine middle name to round it out. [name_f]My[/name_f] first son is [name_m]Omri[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], where we chose something more traditional for the middle to balance out a more uncommon first name. I think I’d want to do that with baby boy #2’s name, too. Good question!
Definitley a name that’s very much unisex, but I’ve never met anyone with this name so… If using it for a boy, I would just balance it out with a masculine name and vice versa
The only [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] I’ve met is a girl, so until a couple months ago, I didn’t even realize it is unisex, but now I like it pretty much equally for both.

I love [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] for a boy. It’s near the very top of my list. It’s so beautiful. It’s peaceful & lovable & artsy & kind. I love the way it flows off the tongue. I can see the appeal of it for a girl, because it is a very pretty boy name. But I don’t think it’s too sissy sounding. It’s kind of like a nature-y woodsy boy, you know?

I really like it for any gender–I’d love to meet a little boy [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]! I agree with previous commenters about the possibility of balancing it with a more traditional masculine middle, if that’s a concern!
I prefer it for a boy, but I think it works well on either.
Shiloh [name_m]Martin[/name_m] sounds very handsome to me
I like it for a girl, but it’s been on my list for boy’s names since I was a teenager. I like the soft sound for a boy.
I voted girl because I do find it used more for girl’s now a days, but I first heard [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] as a boy’s name, and I’ve always personally preferred it for boys. All in all though, considering I’ve known of both boys and girls with the name, I’d say it’s one of the squarely unisex names and I don’t think you have to worry about it being too girly or anything like that! If that is something you’re worried about though, I’d say go for a more traditionally masculine middle, so he always has something to fall back on!
