Is the name Mitchell Bickel to “rhymie”?

I have always loved the name [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] but am now wondering if it sounds too “rhymie” with our surname: [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] Bickel. What do you think?

Honestly, it sounds very abrupt and repetitive. It also feels hard to say fast (I’m assuming the emphasis is on the first syllable of your surname, like it is with [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m]).

I’m not sure if you’re looking for suggestions, but I think [name_m]Miles[/name_m] would be a great substitute.

I think it sounds too rhyme-y, sorry!

Too rhyme-y :frowning:

This makes me think of [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] Pritchett (from Modern Family) which I have always thought was too rhymey/repetitive… I think [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] Bickel is also too rhymey, sorry.

Unfortunately I have to agree with everyone else. A bit too rhyme-y!

It is a bit of a tongue-twister. I feel I might accidentally invert the first letters, and the result isn’t very flattering.

Yes, sorry.

Too sing songy for me. Sorry.

Yep this is my first thought too, sorry ”

Same! I tryed to say it out loud a couple times and… sorry, too rhyme-y

It sounds like the name of a weird nerdy kid in a children’s show.

Find an “o” name like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] or [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m] for a non-“i” sound.
