My husband and I like the name [name]Shaw[/name], but he said he’d prefer if there were a longer version of it and [name]Shaw[/name] was just the nickname. The only names I could come up with were
Shawshank–as in the movie, Shawshank Redemption or
Crenshaw–I like the sound of this, but it’s the name of a street in a fairly dangerous part of LA (I live in the greater LA area)
Any other ideas? This may not be possible, but thought I’d throw it out there to the experts!
[name]Bradshaw[/name] is good. We liked [name]Bradbury[/name], for [name]Ray[/name] [name]Bradbury[/name], a fave author of mine whom I’ve met several times (and from my hometown, as well), but we don’t like the nickname [name]Brad[/name]. I guess the same would apply here, although I like [name]Bradshaw[/name] as a whole.
I love [name]Bradshaw[/name] for you for it’s similarity to [name]Bradbury[/name] (who is also my favorite Sci-Fi writer and I am SO Jealous of you for meeting him). I love [name]Shaw[/name] on it’s own. It’s strong and masculine sounding.
I can think of:
Dayshawn – Yahweh is [name]Gracious[/name]
Grimshaw – dark woods – actually love this
Renshaw – raven’s woods – love this too
[name]Shawnel[/name]
