[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there. I am wondering what are your thoughts on a name combo. I am worried that the combo might be to long and to much of a mouthful.
The combo is [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m].
I wouldn’t use [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] on a daily basis. All the names are honour names for family members apart from [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] which is my first name.
My back up name combo is Lucy Katherine Cecily Brooks. Is this better?
What do you think?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, I think this name is too long. If you are going to have a hyphenated first name, I would definitely only use one middle name. Only royalty can get away with names this long.
I do think it is too long, sorry
even if you wouldn’t use most of those names on a daily basis, they’d still follow her around. They’d be on her IDs, official paperwork, and used in her legal signature. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] is still long but is slightly better.
I am sorry I forgot to say this name is for me.
Sorry, yes, I do find this name too much of a mouthful. It took me a long while to feel comfortable with two middle names but I also wanted to honor loved ones. [name_f]Every[/name_f] name in my signature honors loved ones and I wanted to honor certain loved ones together in a combo. Having a hyphenated first name and two middle names is the equivalent of a first name with 3 middle names. Personally too much for me.
I think it’s way too long, to be honest. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] isn’t much better, but it is a slight improvement. I just can’t imagine having to say or write all that out on paper if needed.
Thank you all I will have a rethink.
