Zipporah is a very beautiful Hebrew band that I love!
Zipporah means “Bird” which is so lovely!
Zipporah was believed to be the wife of Moses is the Bible
I think a name like Zipporah Sparrow would be lovely because if the meaning! Plus the biblical significance of Sparrows! Of course I worry that Zipporah Sparrow will sound too wild paired with names like Esther Darling and Felicity Love
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] really is a darling name, and I love the middle name [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u]! The Biblical ties make this name extra special.
I don’t think that the combination is too wild, especially because there are a lot of cute nicknames she could use if she didn’t want to use [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] all the time. It’s about time some of these rare Biblical gems got some use! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!
I like [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f], and I’ve known a few. It’s not all that uncommon in Jewish circles. I would not think that [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] were mismatched as sisters, but I would definitely assume they were Jewish.
Well I’m not Jewish but [name_u]Christian[/name_u], however Hebrew names are lovely and relate well to what I believe. I would love to name a son [name_m]Peter[/name_m] which is more [name_u]New[/name_u] Testament but I do live Hebrew names.
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] is zippy, bright and lovely. It is a bold name, but sisters [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] wouldn’t surprise me!
I looooove [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] and YES she is absolutely wearable!! I always knew she was, but I found a girl on Instagram named [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] who goes by [name_f]Zippy[/name_f] () which all the more cemented that she definitely works in real life for me!
[name_f]Esther[/name_f] is also a favourite of mine (Esther [name_f]Darling[/name_f] ) and I think she pairs perfectly well with [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f]!
I knew a [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] once, she was the sister of one of my friends. I can’t remember if it was spelt this way or like [name_f]Tzipporah[/name_f]. They weren’t Jewish, but Evangelical. It doesn’t feel too unusable for me, and I think its a nice name. But I would recommend giving her a more traditional middle, though, just in case she wants to use a more traditional name at any point. Personally, I always think of middle names less for the overall aestheticism of the name, but as a spare name just in case for any reason a child’s first name doesn’t fit them. As someone who’s grown up with an “unusable” middle name, I wouldn’t recommend it at all. So, here are some other middle suggestions
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] cousin is [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f]
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] is pretty, bright, visually interesting with the fun Z start and I also love the nickname [name_f]Zippy[/name_f]. [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] [name_u]Sparrow[/name_u] is delightful and I think works well with [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Darling[/name_f] a very pretty pairing. I actually think they are a gorgeous pairing they feel impactful and rich in biblical history. [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] doesn’t feel like a natural sister choice for [name_f]Esther[/name_f] & [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] just because she doesn’t feel overtly biblical. However I think [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] can work and if you love her go for it.
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is not overly biblical however I think the virtue of [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is, also it is the feminine of [name_m]Felix[/name_m] which is a biblical name.
Echoing @AnandaWren, I would very much assume that sisters [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] were Jewish. [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] would be the one that stood out to be with all three together.
Wear-ability probably depends more on location/community than anything else. Again in Jewish communities it wouldn’t seem too unusual.
If I used it I would be more likely to spell it with the Tz start, since that better reflects how it is pronounced, but I see the appeal of the Z initial.
Yes [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] is totally wearable and has a cool meaning. Your combo is lovely. The first thing I thought is that you could call her [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] as a nickname, or [name_f]Zippy[/name_f].
[name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] is wearable such a beautiful and unique name I know someone who is named this and goes by [name_f]Zippy[/name_f]. You could call her [name_f]Zorah[/name_f] for short too.
