Annabella sounds a bit like antebellum to me so maybe that’s why @LynnG had the association of a simple farm girl. I’m in the south and it does have an old southern ring to it… I think both are great names. [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] sounds more common to me. [name_u]Love[/name_u] calling her [name_f]Bella[/name_f]!

I like [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] okay, but [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is lovely and I much prefer it.

Probably not what you’re looking for but I recently discovered [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] – an expected [name_f]Bella[/name_f] name that ages well. It’s also unisex

2 of my daughters are named [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] haha!! Great minds think alike I suppose!
