Isabella vs Annabella

Which do you prefer but will be nicknamed [name_f]Bella[/name_f] either way. Middle name [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Not sure how to do a poll, apologies!

Isabella because [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] seems unnatural to me. I do love [name_f]Anna[/name_f] all on its own!

Isabel and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] would be my spellings  I love the nn “[name_f]Bella[/name_f].”

I prefer [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]! It’s more interesting and I like that she also has the option of [name_f]Annie[/name_f].

I like both but I prefer [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] as [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]/Isabelle/Isobel etc has just been too popular for me. I just think [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] is so sweet and underrated.

I prefer [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] too because there are more options for nicknames. [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Ann[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f].

I know it’s not a option but out of all the [name_f]Bella[/name_f] ending names my fave is [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. It’s soooo gorgeous.

Isabella 100% I’ve never heard of [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] but it looks unnatural to me. [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] is better, but [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is still best.

Annabella! So beautiful and sweet. [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is nice, but feels a bit too overused for me.

I prefer [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]! I just enjoy the sound more, and I like that it is a stand-alone name, not a combo of two names like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f].

I prefer the way [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] sounds over the way [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] sounds. Of course, you have to consider the entire name with your surname. [name_m]Say[/name_m] each aloud and notice the cadence and rhythm of the entire name when said together.

If you decide to use [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], I see no reason why you still could not use the nickname [name_f]Bella[/name_f].

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Bella[/name_f] would still be ok with [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]? I often question this and it puts me off  thanks for your input!

[name_f]Edit[/name_f]- thank you everyone for all your views! Much appreciated! [name_f]Welcome[/name_f] anymore :kissing_heart:

[name_f]Isabella[/name_f], hands down.
[name_f]Annabella[/name_f] gives me the image of a sweet, simple farm/country girl–which isn’t an entirely positive thing… It’s a bit…limiting.

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is more ubiquitous in its associations, making it more suitable for her professional years (most of her life). E.g. I can picture an [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] / [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] in the role of a scientist, architect, CEO, astronaut, or chef as easily as I could picture her as a artist or teacher or nurse. I can’t say the same with [name_f]Annabella[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Annabella[/name_f]! [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is beautiful, but a bit overdone in the first name spot where I live.
