My favourite spelling is defintely [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], it looks best to me. And as [name_f]Bel[/name_f]/[name_f]Belle[/name_f] are the same out loud, I don’t think you’d need to tailor the full name to the nickname.
I loovvee the [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] spelling so much. I think that it is vastly underused, and adds a hint of individuality to a very popular name. I don’t mind [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] too much, but I really don’t like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]-it’s just a bit too frilly and feminine for me. [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is a beautiful nickname, and whilst it definitely is slightly more intuitive with the ‘[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]’ spelling, I think it works fine with the other spellings too, as the sounds are all there.
As for middle names, I think that [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] works well with both [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f], the deciding factor for me would be the length and sound of your surname.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helps xx
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is my favourite spelling, it’s the most classic and elegant to me. All three of them could lead to the nickname [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] would look better visually with [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f], as the endings are different, but any of them would go well with either middle.
I love [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] equally, I think it all depends on the middle name you choose. For instance, [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] looks a bit too frilly to me whereas [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is perfect. [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] looks perfect whereas [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] looks good, but perhaps a bit compact. [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is not a spelling I like because for me it just really doesn’t make sense, why the ‘o’? It looks to me like a misspelling next to all of the other versions of [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] followed by [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].
I’ve always despised [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], but somehow the spelling [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] makes me somewhat like it. [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] gets my vote!
Ooh difficult! I myself have been debating this very question, and find myself flitting back and forth between [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]. [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is my least favourite spelling of the three.
Seeing that [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is my ultimate favorite girls’ name, I couldn’t vote against her! I think she’s GORGEOUS. I’m obviously unbiased, though.
I think [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] are both gorgeous!
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] for me, as well! While I have nothing against a super long name like [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] (I love long names), I prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] just because I like it better than [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Kaitlyn[/name_f] would be really cute, too, actually!
