Could you give me a longer explanation as to which one you would pick and why?
I can’t make up my mind.
The spellings won’t be changed (I don’t mind Isabel but don’t love it).
Thank you.

This is tough! Both are lovely, but I prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] . [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is such a soft-sounding name that I think ages better than [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]. The -elle ending is also my favourite spelling. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f]. Im sick of all of the Isabell,Isabel,Isobel,Isobelle etc spellings and people saying isabelle and isobel are different. [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] 100%
I’d choose [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]! I love the flow and flair of it, the way it rolls of the tongue, the way it looks - sort of well rounded. It’s also the name of one of my fave characters (Isabella Linton), so it does win out for me
Definitely [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. Simpler, but just as feminine as isabella. [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is super popular where I’m from.
Slightly prefer Isabella💜
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. I prefer the simpler sound and the way it looks visually and while [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is also a very beautiful, feminine, girly name, the extra syllable with the -a ending tips [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] over into overly frilly territory for me.
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f]!
I prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], it sounds softer but less cutesy.
I agree. Both are pretty, but [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is more timeless and less common
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is the name of my grandmother so I’m going to say [name_f]Isabella[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] feels fresher and lighter to me than [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], I think simply because I’ve met so many Isabella’s
I prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] (though [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is by far my favourite - but I understand you don’t like it as much, which is fine). [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] is too popular for me and feels too trendy. It’s also too long and flowery for my personal taste. I also pretty strongly dislike the nickname [name_f]Bella[/name_f] (very much a dog name to me) so I think [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is slightly less likely to get that. I prefer that [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] is simpler and more streamlined.
I much prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], it’s so pretty and sophisticated. [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] sounds a bit overly frilly to me. It’s kind of the same with Annabelle/Annabella - I like [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f], but [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] is a bit too frilly I think. Also, I have good experiences with Isabelle’s, but not so much with Isabella’s. I can think of one really nice [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], but she goes by [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] anyway haha. (This is just my experience though).
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]! It’s my 5 month old’s name. Considered all versions of the name. But I hate the nickname [name_f]Bella[/name_f]. I want to go with [name_u]Izzy[/name_u]. Maybe [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. So went with [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f].
I’m really tired of Isabella. I know so many. It feels clunky to me now.
Isabelle feels lighter and elegant. I really find it beautiful.
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] loved [name_f]Belle[/name_f] as a nickname over [name_f]Bella[/name_f]
Where I live [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] is way more popular (and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] has a similar sound). I have heard many.
I would use [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], it is more elegant and romantic.
