I think [name]Isis[/name] is a quirky Egyptian goddess name with an exotic flair. I like it but I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea due to the “ice” sound in the beginning. Some people find it too cold and frosty. I just think of the pyramids, Pharaohs and the Sphinx and these images give the name a little more warmth. 
I think it’s a cool name! I wouldn’t use it myself, but I’d love to see it used. [name]Isis[/name] the goddess was pretty awesome, too. When her husband [name]Osiris[/name] was killed and ripped apart by his evil brother [name]Seth[/name], [name]Isis[/name] traveled the world recovering the pieces of his body so she could put [name]Osiris[/name] back together and his spirit could move on. It’s one of my favorite myths; [name]Isis[/name] is a very strong goddess and she’s the hero of her story, which I think is cool. And I like the idea of picking up the pieces (literally) after destruction. She’s a worthy namesake in my book.
There is a Hispanic newscaster in my city with this name but she pronounces it “eee sees” I quite like it either way. [name]Unique[/name] and quirky but usable!
I love [name]Isis[/name]. I think it’s quirky and sweet and fun. It kind of reminds me of a less popular [name]Isla[/name]. I think it’s great.
I know someone who named their daughter [name]Isis[/name]. She’s an adorable blond one year old. Everyone loves her name and she’s gotten a ton of compliments. I don’t think they’ve even gotten too many weird looks.
So, from personal experience, it can definitely work and has a lovely sound and mythology.
Honestly, it makes me think of the Avent breastpump with that name. Most people won’t make that connotation though.
First thought no. Then well maybe it has flair and honestly it is a wonderful Godess name.
I don’t think [name]Isis[/name] is out there at all! I love it. Very sexy. Very…exotic. Very…mysterious.
There is a little [name]Isis[/name] at my library. I love it, my first thought is the [name]Bob[/name] [name]Dylan[/name] song ‘[name]Isis[/name]’, which is a good association to me.
