I think that [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] are way too similar. I like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] with the other names in your signature though.
I don’t think they’re too close at all. Maybe on paper they look close but realistically you’d be saying them together more often writing them together.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] {and} [name_f]Esme[/name_f] are a dream set!

I think because they look similar I would use one as a fn and one as a mn. But, if you are really stuck on them I think they sound fine as fn… my question is always what would daughter #3 be? Does that name fit in as well or would it be an outlier? If it’s an outlier make one of the [name_f]Isla[/name_f]/[name_f]Esme[/name_f] question a mn, if it fits in, then make them both fn’s.
Like [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Viola[/name_f] would work fine as a subset for me.
But [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] makes [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] feel like the odd one out.
I think they are nice together. I can’t see why they couldn’t be sisters. They’re not too close.
Well I just had to create an account to reply here because our two girls are called [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. The two names have been working well together for several years now and we get a lot of compliments on the choice, so I’d say NO NO NO, STEER CLEAR, THEY’RE OUR NAMES
