Hi Berries,
It’s officially, baby is a GIRL!! We’re so excited but now all the sudden, our girls list seems blah to us. The only remaining two we are both liking are Rosemary “Rosie” and Elizabeth “Betsy”.
Other names I like but he is unsure of : Juliet, June, Samira ( the meaning is incredible), & Frances “Frankie”
Names I like and can’t use: Hazel, Stevie and Hadley
But no name seems just right- open to all feed back and please suggest your favorite girls names.
(Especially B names, I’ve been liking alliteration - our last name starts w B)
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] (and even [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] Rosemary) is GORGEOUS! So classy, posh, and refined…I’m in love! I like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] but [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] makes me think of an older woman and I can’t see it on a girl today. I think you should go with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], so beautiful
Congratulations on your upcoming baby girl !!!
I love all of the names you have short listed. Some of my favourite B girl names that fit the vintage traditional feel are
That is a super interesting meaning - “Companion in evening conversation.” Can you elaborate on why you like it? Normally I would look for other names with similar meanings, but I’m not sure what direction to go in with this one
Amity means “Friendship.” Leila means “Night.” Does one meaning or the other resonate more? Or am I missing the mark?
I love Rosemary! Rosemary Frances or Rosemary June sounds lovely. I think you might like the names Aviva, Beryl, Claudia, Delphine, Fern, Isadora, Ivy, Jemima, Lavender, Lavinia, Marguerite, Millicent, Olive, Perdita, Philippa, Rosaline, Rowan, Shoshana, Sylvie, Tansy, Vesper (has a similar meaning to Samira), Winifred, and Wisteria.
I mean [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a good enough name to me.
But I’ll suggest:
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Liesel[/name_f]
[name_f]Maris[/name_f]
[name_u]Sable[/name_u]
Frances nn Frankie, Franny, or Francie is so cute. I know a Rosemary who goes by Rosie and I love it! And I think alliteration is adorable, so here are some other choices, too!

Some other suggestions:
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]- has a similar vibe to [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] for me.
something that can shorten to [name_f]Evie[/name_f], rather than [name_u]Stevie[/name_u]?- [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]- contains similar sounds to [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], so you could maybe come up with a name that sounds similar? Adley?

I love your whole list! [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] are both real winners. [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] means “compassionate friend” which feels similar to Samira’s meaning, and then you could have alliteration with [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]! This exact combination has been on my list for years
I absolutely love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] it’s such a gorgeous name really romantic with this sweet nature vibe she just has such a lovely cottage core aesthetic. I think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is lovely. I also love [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] she’s a strong timeless classic that feels elegant and regal. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] has a range of gorgeous nicknames and feels effortless.
I think concerning the names OH is unsure off scratch them ultimately you want a name that is perfect for both of you not a name that someone feels uncertain on.
I’m also a massive fan of alliteration my daughter middle names are two ‘e’ names I think visually and sound wise it is so pretty.
You’ve had a few suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
