Italian Little Boy names

hello nameberry! this is my first time posting so idk how this exactly works but i have a friend who’s looking for a name for her little boy. he‘s actually due this week but they’re still not sure what to name him :sweat_smile: giovanni, luka, and basically all other italian names ending with ‘o’ has been vetoed. any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! tyia :pray:t5:

It does seem that most Italian boy names end in -o, doesn’t it? Is that ending totally off limits?

these names don’t feel too old in italy (some are more vintage, but on the right point :sweat_smile: i would not recommend giuseppe or salvatore, they just feel very… grandpa-ish?) i don’t know how they are perceived in other countries though.
