hello nameberry! this is my first time posting so idk how this exactly works but i have a friend who’s looking for a name for her little boy. he‘s actually due this week but they’re still not sure what to name him giovanni, luka, and basically all other italian names ending with ‘o’ has been vetoed. any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! tyia
It does seem that most Italian boy names end in -o, doesn’t it? Is that ending totally off limits?

these names don’t feel too old in italy (some are more vintage, but on the right point i would not recommend giuseppe or salvatore, they just feel very… grandpa-ish?) i don’t know how they are perceived in other countries though.
